| In the interest of preserving Arabia Mountain and its surroundings, a small group of individuals began conservation efforts for this area. They recognized that while efforts had been made in the past to conserve small park areas around Arabia Mountain, these efforts did not fully address the cultural and historical significance of Arabia as well as its natural resources. |
